As a quilt designer for
Niser Holland of
Scrappy Quilt Designs
continues to impress.
Loretta (50" X 72")
shows us a
for making a
Chinese Coins quilt
Sew and Fold paper.
Niser loves classic movies
and many of her quilts are
named after film celebrities
from days gone by.
This quilt was made in honor
of actress Loretta Young.
Several customers have approached Pat Roche,
the new owner of Triangles On A Roll
and asked if we would design a paper
to be used for long lengths
of horizontal lines.
We wondered if the grid lines on
our Sew and Fold Flying Geese/Braid papers
could also be used for this purpose.
Niser did some experimenting
and the Sew and Fold papers worked very well!
The papers allow the maker to
piece the coins in a straight sections,
holding them accurately in place.
Niser's directions are clear, complete with graphics.
can be ordered from
Triangles On A Roll web site
